A new tradition at Outside Lands? Don’t mind if “I do”! We are thrilled to announce City Hall, nestled in the Eucalyptus shade at the heart of McLaren Pass. Festival attendees can host their wedding or recommitment ceremony, throughout the weekend. Reserve your spot and celebrate the big day with your friends and festival family. We’ll provide an officiant, photographer, reserved time slot, wedding lounge for pre-ceremony prep, locker for the day, 2 drink tokens, dedicated seating for guests and a dedicated City Hall concierge – you bring the rings! Inspired by the city’s botanical beauty and civic architecture, City Hall promises to be a memorable experience for all.
The introduction of City Hall also commemorates the 20th anniversary of the Winter of Love, which marked the first same-sex marriage ceremonies in the U.S. at San Francisco’s City Hall. A donation of proceeds from City Hall ceremonies at the festival will be donated to Lambda Legal, a legal and education fund dedicated to LGBTQ+ civil rights.
Please reach out to love@sfoutsidelands.com with any questions about the City Hall experience.
City Hall is an add-on experience. This is not a festival ticket and does not allow entry into Outside Lands. Festival tickets must be purchased separately to access Outside Lands and City Hall.
Legal unions and recommitment ceremonies only. Participants must provide a marriage license for legal unions or a copy of marriage certificate for recommitment ceremonies. To obtain a valid marriage license, you must make an appointment with the County Clerk. As a “while you wait state,” California marriage licenses can be picked up the same day.
